Installation.
Installation of our decking system is not only fast and easy.
We also provide all components needed for the project such as screws, spacers, pedestals and more. So you don't have to worry about looking elsewhere for other accessories.
Why diminish the lifespan of your new composite decking by placing it on a soft wooden sub-structure that can deteriorate and potentially harm your fresh boards? Safeguard the longevity of our composite decking by investing in a composite sub-structure, which will safeguard your decking for an extended period. Also, when installing your composite decking, don't overlook the finer details – we offer a variety of pedestals and fastenings, providing you with all the essentials for setting up your composite decking.

Decking FAQs
What's the delivery cost?
Delivery expenses for our decking selections vary across the UK and are computed based on the delivery postcode you provide. An accurate delivery cost will be included in your quote from our decking supplier, DekBoard. Please note that solid composite decking is weighty, making it ineligible for free delivery.
How quickly will I receive my decking?
We maintain substantial stocks that enable us to furnish products within 2-3 weeks of ordering, contingent on the quantity needed and the product preference. For precise timeframes for your project, contact your local SBS branch for more information.
Why should I opt for solid decking over hollow?
Though hollow deck boards are more economical in the short run, they are inherently less robust (due to their reduced material content), due to this they need replacing more frequently. Our ribbed, grooved reversible, and wood-effect boards come with a 25-year structural performance assurance.
What is composite decking?
The composite wood material is a fusion of wood fibres, recycled plastics, and bonding agents. These elements are heated, moulded into boards, and subsequently cooled. The outcome is a superior, enduring composite board, showcasing the allure of timber with the practicality of plastic.
What's the lifespan of composite decking?
Due to their greater reliability, our solid boards generally surpass their hollow counterparts in quality and this translates to an extended lifespan. Similarly, they require fewer replacements compared to hollow boards and typically carry longer and extended warranties, offering you the peace of mind that you've invested in a superior product.
Does composite decking discolour over time?
Our decking varieties incorporate hardwood fibres to minimize natural UV fading. Initial fading might be visible during the first months, lending a textured appearance; this is a standard process known as weathering. Any initial colour disparities among boards arise from natural colour variations in the wood fibres. Once weathered, the boards will attain a uniform colour tone. The most fade-resistant colours are Dark Grey, Dark Brown, and Black.
